I recently had some work carried out at CPL. They diagnosed a fault which I had been chasing for some time and they managed to resolve this very swiftly. They also tuned my car but brought some very important things to my attention which could’ve potentially caused damage to my engine. They gave me great advice and I am very happy with the outcome. Disgraceful customer service. I live in The Netherlands and purchased a DC sports Manifold in May. 4 months after fitting the internals from the flexi hose collapsed. I contacted CPL and they said i must remove my maniflold, pay for postage and send it to them overseas so they can put a new flexi hose in, meanwhile i have no car to get to my place of work for weeks waiting for my manifold to return! I asked if they could just pay only half of the repair costs so i can take it to a garage for repair here in The Netherlands and they said no. I tried to compromise with Trevor who replied "its not our fault you dont live in the UK" he then hung up the phone not wishing to speak with me anymore. They then ignored my calls. I feel so un helped and miss sold by a faulty £500 product. This could of easily been solved if they just paid half (£76) for me to get it repaired. I do not recommend ever to do business with CPL. Go to Tegiwa instead! In addition to Lynn's response below, since you offering me just a flexi hose repair i took matters into my own hand. You had 3 days to come up with a solution but you didn't offer me anything other than the flexi hose at the expense of me having no transport for 3 weeks. You never even told me you contacted DC sports! I contacted DC Sports myself and sent them the photos i sent you, which by the way were the same photos you did nothing with! 2 weeks later via Fed ex i received a brand new ceramic coated manifold. I can share photos of this. So you say i should try a different approach if i want help?.. wrong, instead i do the dirty work myself because obviously you are incapable of customer service and incapable of communication with your suppliers and communication with me. So the brand new manifold i received actually proves the item was not discontinued. Another excuse you tried to palm me off with. Hmm seems like you left alot of important parts out of your response.
