    Short review: In general this is an expensive place that gives off a vibe of being cosy with promised high-quality service, but fails to deliver this promise. Many of the staff lacked warmth and friendliness. Long review: I have been to Cowshed three times. The first two experiences were OK! The first one was a 45 minute massage. It was good and the therapist was nice. So, before I left, I booked another appointment but this time for manicure and pedicure with two nail technicians. I went there for the second time. The nail technicians were nice but I wouldn’t call the service one of the best experience as I have had more luxurious nail service in other places for less price. The rest of the staff and the receptionist could not provide a nice welcoming attitude. I went back for the third time…. not sure why! I had a Cowshed gel manicure service. To summarize it: I left with lumpy gel nails that started having cracks on the surface only after one week! I was gonna say something to the technician but I really didn’t think she was good as I kept pointing out at the dry skin around the nails to remove them several times. Also, I should mention there was a gel color dry on my finger tips which I didn’t notice until I left! She didn’t even check her work. The booking experience was not easy. The system didn’t allow me to book the manicure and pedicure services at the same time. I tried calling the reception on several different days to request that but no body answered the phone. I emailed them, they replied with no availability and no options for other days to choose from. I personally believe that customer experience is important. The way you’re treated in a certain business, the quality of the service and the booking system are all equally important. If you’re willing to spend your money on luxury I suggest you find another place where at least you’re welcomed in a better way!

    I had a pregnancy facial with a lady called Giulia and it was the best treatment I have had in years. The products she used were perfect, the massage and the level of care were fantastic. The bed where I laid was also very comfortable as it adapted to a pregnant body. I highly recommend it.

    Overall very disappointing experience with patronizing staff. I got there 15 minutes earlier as I was meeting a friend and we had booked different options of services and wanted to decide together which we would each get. While i was waiting for my friend, staff member was pushing me to make a decision (even though i was 15 mins early)... eventually had her understand i needed to wait 2 mins for my friend... later, turned out they couldnt do my manicure as I had gel on and hadn't booked for removal so they offered to do a second facial instead as they couldnt offer a pedicure instead - i said no to a second facial so just sat there. in the end they wanted to charge me for everything even the manicure i didn't get done and said i should have known and them offering a second facial should have been clear that i would be paying for multiple services... at that point when i was faced with a repeated patronizing commentary from the staff i expressed disappointment in this service considering i was testing this place out as i had booked through work for 20 people to come and get a nice team experience and only then when i reminded them of this they said ok just pay for the services you got (but they made sure they once again made their patronizing comment that i should have known). facial was also terrible by the way as i had a bucnh of producs just put on and wiped off my face... definitely do not recommend this place unless you want to go in and walk out feeling belittled!
