I require microsuction on both ears twice annually due to narrow ear canals. I have been to numerous different providers and every time it has been a quick professional service, lying on a treatment chair in a clean sterile medical environment. Unfortunately this is not the case for Imperial Hearing - I was sat in the middle of a messy office sitting on a crumby desk swivel chair whilst the lady wrestled the microsuction machine out of a cupboard and tried to find a surface clear enough to place it. I have never seen anything like it and should have walked out then. I proceeded to give the lady a chance as she was very nice - however halfway through the procedure on my first ear I had a sharp pain in my ear and I was concerned she had hit my ear drum so thought best we leave it there. She was very nice and apologised and was checking I could still hear. I made my excuses, paid and left as the whole thing was quite awkward and I just wanted to leave. She really was a lovely lady however this treatment should not be offered here as they do not have the facilities to safely perform this. I have no idea whether the lady was a good practitioner or not as the best in the world is going to struggle to do this with the patient sat on a swively desk chair. I never leave reviews and feel a bit bad writing this as everyone was so lovely on a personal level. However this is not a risk free procedure and can result in loss of hearing if it goes wrong so feel a moral duty to write this.

The site is a small one but clean and well presented inside and out. Receptionist friendly and forgiving of me being slightly late due to parking issues. The specialist I saw was polite, friendly and explained the procedure fully. I’ve had treatment on he NHS before but Debbie was far gentler. Overall got the result I needed and my hearing returned.
