Whilst I felt that they were very helpful over the phone, we found the training session itself disappointing / uncomfortable and somewhat chaotic. There seemed to be far too many dogs enrolled for the space. On reflection, I wasn't asked for any details when I called, so realised that they perhaps just tell people to turn up and work with anyone who does. It was very crowded and many of the dogs (my own included) spent a lot of time barking, which made it very hard to hear the trainer. She used a water spray to try and distract them from barking, but it didn't seem to be a particularly effective strategy - one women walked out because of it. Having said that, one of the helpers did give us some one-to-one time which was useful. Despite that, we still left feeling like the parents of a particular naughty child which discouraged us from going back! We now take our 15 month old rescue dog to another trainer, and it's far more positive and encouraging - he's coming on in leaps and bounds!
