I have visited Coupers in St. Albans before and had my service done. Visited recently for a pre warranty check as part of the all-in package which costs £800 which includes services etc for 2 years. Was told it cannot be approved until I had my shock absorbers changed which costs around £1000 as they are “misting”. Had it rechecked by an independent garage who advised they were bone dry with no oil leaking. I then visited Seat in Hatfield who advised that general misting is expected and should not stop the all-in package being approved. They rechecked it and found no misting and mentioned it was bone dry. Did not expect such unprofessional/unethical behaviour and will not be returning and will be advising all others to stay clear.
