Roger Halliday who used to work there was the best, now he has retired. I went there recently to try new hearing aids where they suggested that I need new test and altered my existing hearing aids and REFUSED to revert it back even when I couldn't bear the sounds. I wanted to try new hearing aids only because the existing ones are nit 100% waterproof, but the sound hearing in the existing ones are not a problem at all. After raising a complain with their head office they finally reverted it but with a little tweaked settings ( which am still not happy about) . Please do not go to this place. They lied to my face that they reverted the settings(before I complained to head office) and said it is to do with my brain. I was so shocked, I am using hearing aids for last 18 years. Then they accepted that they did not revert back but just reduced the volume ( you can see how unprofessional this is) lying at the face of hearing impaired customer blaming their brain :,( . This place is Not At all Recommended! Am still struggling with the hearing aids which is under warranty. Hope Mr. Oliver Wright does something about this.

Poor service. I booked a microsuction appointment over the phone for my elderly mum. The website advertises this as £60 but the email I received was for £125. I queried this but was told she would need a full examination. I explained she is under care at the audiology department at Brentwood community hospital. The audiologist recently examined her hearing and advised microsuction, which is no longer offered at the hospital. My mum has had microsuction before at Specsavers for £65 (they have recently stopped this service) and so I have now made an appointment at the Hearing Hub, Brentwood. They are happy to just do microsuction for £65. County Hearing should make it clear that they don't offer just microsuction. I don't understand why. Presumably to make more money.

I had micro suction treatment today in both ears. Every step was really well explained and the results are fantastic, very professional and reassuring. Not sure of the names of the ladies but both got involved to clear my ears of compacted wax. Highly recommended.

My appointment was @ 9:30. I waited in reception while a gentleman who did not introduce himself told me to fill out a form. I was booked in for microsuction. The man was telling me that the computers were down and spent some time trying to get this sorted all the while saying sorry for the inconvenience. The man looked in my Ears told me I didn't have wax in them and for this I was charged £35 ! I should of gone to the Doctors for Free !! I would not of minded but I was not told that there would be consultation Fee previous and this was an inconvenience to me as I had traveled 15 miles for Nothing !! My conclusion go to the Doctors 1st !!

The micro-suction treatment given by David was absolutely first rate: the outcome was little short of miraculous (from deaf in one ear to better than ever hearing), the explanation at the start of the procedure was clear, informative and made me feel in very safe hands, the procedure itself was painless and David’s tips for avoiding further problems were much appreciated. Thank you so much- it is not often that one comes across such great and effective service so close to home and at such reasonable cost.

Outstanding and such caring service by Roger Halliday and his whole team at County Hearing in Ongar Road, Brentwood. Roger was terrific with our 95 year old father. Premises spotlessly clean, not rushed and gentle microsuction to remove wax worked well. We could not wait any longer for NHS. We parked in Sainsburys opposite with easy path/zebra crossing assess onto Ongar Road. My husband shopped whilst I waited masked up as Roger carried out hearing tests etc. Our father celebrated his birthday yesterday happier than we’ve seen him in the last year all due Roger’s professional service.
