    I used to buy from County foods until I called them back in the summer enquiring where their meat came from - a lady at the time mentioned that only the lamb was British and that they source meat abroad and pack it at their shop. (If the information provided by County Foods staff is incorrect then you should clearly state what and how much meat is imported on your website) Disappointing… had I known this sooner I could’ve funded a local butcher. This way I’d know the produce was fresh and local - We need to do more to help our UK farmers rather than sourcing it elsewhere.

    Great place to work. Everyone is helpful to the new employee. Everyone works well individually but part as a team. Everyone knows the role they play and are valued in the work they do by Management and Co-workers If you are interested in working for County Foods the response time is quick and very professional. Interview, induction and training in the role you do. When working at County Foods everybody is polite and happy to help you integrate into the team and help if you need advice or need to question what you need to be doing correctly. Locally they also pay a decent wage for the work you do, More than other local manufactures and factories. This allows County Foods to become an employment of choice for the employee and in turn the company value the staff they recruit.

    STAY AWAY -Bad quality steak -Charging you higher prices in case you don’t notice and pay it. -Rude and disrespectful owner. -Drivers seem very unhappy with the boss and his abuse. -Chasing for your refund for bad quality of meat got. -frozen product that was defrosted night before and sold to you as fresh. I’m an hospitality manager and here is my experience in 1 year that I tolerated counter food.
