FAQ
What is the staff-to-patient ratio in your nursing home?
At Country Court, we strive to maintain a low staff-to-patient ratio to ensure that our patients receive individualized care and attention. Our ratio depends on the needs of the patients in each unit, but we always make sure that there are enough staff members to provide quality care at all times. Are there any specialized care services provided for patients with specific medical conditions?
Yes, we offer specialized care services for patients with specific medical conditions. Our staff is trained to provide care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other conditions that require specialized care. We also have a range of therapy services available, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Can families visit their loved ones at any time or are there specific visiting hours?
We understand the importance of family involvement in the care of our patients, which is why we allow families to visit their loved ones at any time. We do ask that families be respectful of other patients and their families, and that they check in with the nursing staff before visiting to ensure that their visit will not disrupt any medical procedures or treatments. How do you ensure the safety and security of your patients?
We take the safety and security of our patients very seriously. We have a number of measures in place, including 24-hour surveillance cameras, locked entrances and exits, and a secure medication management system. We also have staff trained in emergency response procedures to handle any situation that may arise. Are there any additional fees or hidden costs that patients or their families should be aware of?
No, we are transparent about our fees and do not have any hidden costs or additional fees. We provide a detailed breakdown of all costs associated with our care services, and we work with families to ensure that they understand and are comfortable with the costs before any services are provided.Reviews

Terrible company. not even worth 1 star. Are care home got closed down and we all got made redundant after working so incredibly hard to improve are CQC reports. Which we did! All they care about is money and not the care aspect at all. They got staff to live in the care home from overseas who spoke very little English and weren’t trained properly even though they were administering medication. A massive safeguarding concern. The regional manager only came in a few times and didn’t say hello to any of the residents, he just sat in the office. From what myself and other staff have noticed, if there care homes aren't good enough it gets shut down and they just build another one elsewhere instead of actually making improvements. Like I said, it’s just about money and making there money back up. No care whatsoever. They even used false advertising on our care homes website.

Company took over our home earlier in the year. We were told big plans they had for our home and what they were going to do, ensuring our jobs were SECURE. A couple months later we were told in a meeting, without any notion as to what was going to happen, our home was to be closed and staff are being made redundant. Only help received was one meeting where the company were meant to help staff find jobs however didn’t show up and was laid on our lovely manager instead. Residents told they need to be out of home by November and losing their lovely home we made plenty of memories in. Staff hired within company who had poor English, and not enough knowledge of English culture to enrich residents. The same staff who were staying within the home, would complete a day shift then woken up on a night shift to help as we were so short staffed and the company refused to get agency care. We all helped with over time as much as possible but were very short staffed ourselves!! We built such trusting relationships with our residents and because we CARE we visited them in their new homes.. they seem more stressed and miserable.. is this how we treat our elderly? This ‘care company’ should learn the term ‘respect their elders’. For a care company they should preach what lies they post, if you don’t believe me look at reviews on trust pilot.
