Having used them for boarding in the past and for the dog park, I would not recommend them. My dog escaped the secure field and my dog came out of boarding and I was told he didn't touch the toys I left, this is impossible as both at home and other kennels he loves to shred then. I have not used them since and would never do so again. **I can confirm I was a client and have photographic evidence of my dog being there so please stop reporting my post. This is my own review and thoughts. Google also shows me as visiting.**

This is a honest review. When a kennel management fail to recognise when they are wrong and a client tries to rectify a situation to no avail, you know it’s not the place for your dog. Our Viszla puppy first boarded winter last year. Before collection we were informed by message that the dog had bitten one of the staff. I understand no medical treatment was necessary and it was a one off situation where a duty manager was attempting to place a leash on the puppy while surrounded by other dogs during a walk. I was told at the time that our dog was possibly responding appropriately to the offensive nature of another dog. I’m no expert, but should an experienced handler recognise signs of behavioural changes and anxiety, and that a dog may bite because it feels it has no other option? However, on collection the next day nothing else was said and I simply put it down to experience and that they had handled the situation. Our Viszla boarded again the following autumn. Although the kennel were keen to take the booking payment and were provided with the required proof of vaccinations on the first visit just months before, they insisted on drop off proof again of the three year booster (on a 18 month old dog!) and yearly (recent) kennel cough vaccination. They had no record and we had to call our vet to verify. The staff were actually quite rude, while at the same time the owners seemed embarrassed by the management’s negative attitude. As we were also (mistakenly) a little early and on our way to the airport, I asked the owner if they could accommodate our dog an extra hour - and offered to pay - to which he said it shouldn’t be a problem. Without once looking up his manager told us otherwise, leaving the owner to shrug his shoulders and say it was out of his hands, leaving us no option than to make other arrangements. I understand this was the same manager that the puppy had previously bitten and she was now going out of her way to be awkward. It had actually made us feel very hesitant on leaving him. Later, we were then informed that all kind of bedding was completely forbidden. Now, I’m sure surrounded by familiar things can give even the most anxious dog a little reassurance, especially puppies. For this reason, most kennels will allow your pet to have at least one or two items from home, such as simple blanket - something we learned after leaving him. On collection we were told by a nice younger handler that our dog had been a delight to walk ‘off lead’ and well behaved at all times. However, we were then informed by yet another rude and arrogant manager that they would not be accepting our dog back because of the biting incident months before. It was policy and that was that, although they just boarded him for 16 days! The joyful moment of collection quickly turned into a confused, frustrating and upsetting situation that should have been better dealt with, or better still avoided - no matter what their made up policy says! I told the ‘manager’ exactly that plus her attitude was unprofessional and wrong. I also said I doubt we would board there again. She again arrogantly replied ‘let’s leave it at that then’, like we were a trouble client. Although the younger staff seemed helpful and pleasant, overall the kennel management were substandard and the owners completely out of touch.. I’m so looking forward to the response.
