This could be a long review.... My website is still a basic page just now. It’s an online business card that I asked Damian to throw up as we worked on this MAMOUTH task in the background to create the foundations of the site, which isn't live yet, but it's on schedule as agreed. The work that has been involved, thus far, has been phenomenal! And this is the best word to describe Damian! As a business owner, it is your blood, sweat, tears and the very personal heartache and tragedy you may have had to endure, to get your business off the ground and up and running. Your business is your baby. It is literally like your child and you know what's best for your own child. Or you think you do, until you meet Super-Nanny. She doesn't take over, she allows you to be the parent, have control and just gently guides you towards better solutions that end with better outcomes for your child, who is then much happier. You end up getting the best out of each other, rather than a cycle of tantrums and stress. Now this is what Damian does for your online hopes, dreams and desires for your business. I have set Damian an ENORMOUS and COMPLEX task for my website. I know I have, because the website I am trying to emulate had a budget of £1.2 million to build it! Damian has helped me sift through the enormity of what I had originally planned and he sensitively and sensibly helped me to streamline what I wanted, in to a manageable and affordable amount of work. He took complex and involved flowcharts that I had spent hours drafting and opened my eyes to see my whole vision in a different way. He is absolutely brilliant at understanding and interpreting a brief for what you THINK you want as the business owner vs what your business actually needs. Certaily in terms of its online presence. Damian brings his wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to help identify how the online part of your business is best served, and he will tailor and implement a strategy to do that effectively. The way in which Damian has been tirelessly trawling through complicated flowcharts that I had drawn to display my vision for each page of the website. His ability to identify areas that he sees as easily simplified is just an indefinable and amazing skill. His help on this has spilled over into the daily runnings of the business and actually helped me streamline things in the day-to-day operations, unrelated to the website at all. I cannot accurately articulate or define this man's talents. I may not always agree with him and I have learned that this is all part of the process to create a website. But how Damian communicates a difference of opinion, how he describes what he sees as best, how he helps and guides you and how he allows you to make the final decision is a real talent, it is a real gift in people skills. He is incredibly easy to work with. I trust him implicitly to have my business interests at heart. If Damian is doing 1 hours’ work on my website, I know it’s one hours’ work that he’ll be putting in with all the passion, drive, detail and focus, as if it was his own business. In my workings back and forth with him, just in creating the back end function of my site, his work ethic on it all really shines through. It's taken me MANY years to learn, but when you get to that point in your business where you find you need to employ an accountant, a book-keeper, an admin, or a website designer, it's because you've come to the realisation that you simply CANNOT do it ALL yourself. When you begin to rely on people, get them involved in your business to do the things that is their skill-set to do, and do well, something in the energy of it shifts. You task people with things that you know they'll do more efficiently than you can do it. When you get the point of relinquishing ALL CONTROL and delegate tasks to people better equipped to do them, you can concentrate on the business of concentrating on your business. With this man running your online operations, you can focus on your frontline operations and your business will thrive!
