Visited for an overnight spa experience with a group of friends. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were warm and incredibly helpful. Rooms were great. Food was good, though for some reason my dinner was forgotten when everyone else's landed so I had to wait a while for mine. Wasn't the end of the world though. There was a group of 8 of us so we were given our own dining room which on the one hand was thoughtful but on the other meant we lacked a little of the atmosphere we'd have had in the restaurant. We did overhear a member of staff saying we should be "kept an eye on" because we were a hen party 😳 Not sure what kind of people they usually expect!? The spa treatments were fantastic, lovely massage. Again the treatment centre staff were really lovely. We visited on a warm and sunny weekend so spent the rest of the afternoon lounging in the outdoor jacuzzi. It was fabulous. If there were any negatives, just to be balanced, one was that the lass behind the spa bar was completely miserable and obviously doesn't enjoy her job. She didn't crack a smile the entire time we were there and looked down her nose at everyone for some reason. When everyone else there was so nice, that was a shame. Also, the price of the drinks in the spa area were astronomical. £10 for a glass of prosecco when a bottle in the restaurant was £32 but the spa won't serve by the bottle. Overall, however, it was a lovely experience and I'd go back.

After receiving some bad news my partner booked me and my daughter in as a nice surprise. The staff are exceptionally friendly and look like they are happy to be there themselves. The room was a nice size and the fridge was a nice touch as well as the robes and slippers. My daughter and I had a lovely swim before dinner which was surrounded by smiles throughout. The sleep was one of the best I had in along time. The choice of pillows is a nice touch as-well as refillable milk and filtered water bottles. The breakfast was 5*, add the hash browns you won't regret it. I will forever dream of them. Overall I will definitely be returning. Such a nice place.
