We have got walking boots from here twice (my partner last year and me last week) the staff on both occasions went above and beyond to help us, they knew what they were talking about. The server was able to explain which shoes were wide fit and helped me to test the shoes.

We needed new folding chairs and, after some online research, called into Cotswold. A young man kindly unpacked the chair we were interested in and then left us to try it. We called him back, he packed it up, found a second one ( we needed 2) and offered to take them to the checkout. We were dealt with there with friendliness, courtesy and helpfulness. Thanks guys. The chairs are excellent too !!

Reasonable range but abysmal service. Went in to buy boots and was basically just thrown different pairs and soon as chosen the assistant just left to return to the back room leaving me to collect things together for the till. Equally disinterested service there. I won't return.

Thank you to Adrian who so kindly spent 30 minutes plus advising me impartially about a good ruck sack I so needed for my trip next week. I had my heart on an Osprey 65l... they had some on the shop floor.. Adrian showed me how to put it on, how to adjust it, how to carry it on trains whilst in Thailand, how to book it on flight. It is so comfy. I wanted a nice ruck sack for a woman, who had back pain and a frozen shoulder, the one I bought instore Osprey Aura AG 65 was just a dream.
