We booked inadvance the previous day but despite being on a sunny Saturday, they had plenty of available boats anyway. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We spent 3 hours out on the river, it was a good workout paddling upstream. We will definitely be back.

Really good canoe hire. Good rates. We did about 4 hours downstream. Busy at the start but soon quietened out. The river actually gets quite narrow further back. We also went down the river Coln though just a little as it was blocked with trees further down. Helpful and efficient staff.

Super helpful with our family booking of 3 row boats and a kayak. Friendly staff. Gorgeous row up the river and back and then a convenient pint in the pub next door. Car park was very busy and it’s pay and display. Toilets are in the pub.

Called to book a slot...no hassle and prompt, friendly service. The kayaks we're ready and we were straight on the water. Lovely one hour trip upstream in dual kayaks (keep to the right) and 20 minutes back. All in all, a memorable one hour trip on the Thames seeing swans, mallards and lots of swallows too. Looking forward to returning for a longer trip.

This is a great location for kayak,canoe and paddle boarding,upnstream there are no large boats to dodge,the website gives the impression that minimum hire is 3hrs duration but information board at the site let' us know that you can go out for one hour minimum which would have saved some money. Staff could have been more helpful with buoyancy aids and paddles and you have to use the Riverside pub loos if you need to,but overall it was an enjoyable experience.
