What a fab day out this was! The team were welcoming and very informative, they coached us through the session and demonstrated with various different bows over the 90 minutes before we used them. We will be coming back soon for another go! They are located to the left of the carpark at the Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre, the set up is all outside, with a roof and seating so you can go in any weather and still enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside views. I would suggest you have to wrap up warm in winter, but it's worth it!

Neil and Jenny were super accommodating, both prior to booking and during our archery session. Very fun people. Prices that may help others were £30 for 90 minutes, and we got to try 3 different bows.

We came here for a 90min session for my daughter's birthday. The couple who ran the session were very experienced (40 years worth) and clearly are comfortable with teaching groups. We were one of four archers of various ages and experience. They constantly offered tips and pointers and even cracked the occasional joke to keep everyone engaged and smiling. They provide a variety of different bows and explain their functions, which you get to practice with all of them. Kodak the dog was also a source of unintentional entertainment. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed it, she's 12, but 90 mins drawing bows had tired her out. Don't let this put you off as there are different bows for different abilities. We'll definitely be back again in the summer.

Jenny and Neil were fantastic hosts, and I thoroughly recommend this experience. We were a party of 5 novices looking to book a slot just after New Year. Neil replied promptly and dealt with all our queries courteously. As was mentioned a few times by Neil, you will not find the place by GPS, and it is advisable to download the what3words app and sorting out the exact coordinates before setting off. The archery range is located on the same grounds as the garden center, but you will see no signs directing you to it. The three word location app is a must. The lesson itself was informative and great fun. Jenny and Neil have a sparkling sense of humour, which kept the lesson light for both adults and kids alike. The highlight of our time in Moreton-in-Marsh.
