I think it's pretty good here as you can pretty much get what you need in the shops. There is a small park here for children to play in. Also a train station in cosham which gets very busy as most trains go through this station from Portsmouth. They have McDonald's, New look, M & Co, a few pound shops, Costa, Wetherspoon, Gregg's, Iceland, Tesco etc

Very basic and tired looking train station which could do with being updated. Trains run to Portsmouth, London, Brighton and the West Coast. On the odd occasion you get steam trains running through the station but there is limited viewing.

Easy to use station. There is a shop right outside, and since there are no gates, you can quickly pop in for a snack if there is time before your train. Used for my daily commute for 2 years and have no issues apart from the regularity of some of the trains. There were often days where I would have to rush out of school to try and make a train, or risk a half an hour wait. This usually wasn't too bad, however, on some days, during the winter especially, there would be bad weather and not very much shelter from it. All there is, is one, bus-stop sized, shelter, with a few seats. The rest of the benches are exposed to the elements, leading to a less than pleasant experience. Simple station, but could do with some more sheltered seating.
