We booked the Skylark for an 80th birthday present on the 12th July. I was gutted , this barge was absolutely filthy , every surface including floors , toilet, ,fridge, kitchen area , crockery etc , I have never been so embarrassed to have to take family out for a.day and be greeted with that. The owner has ignored all phonecalls and the issue was not addressed and replied to in any emails that were sent . To think we paid £180 for this and the customer service has been appalling

Do not use!! The boat is disgusting!! Absolutely gutted when we turned up for an 80th birthday to a filty dirty boat. Dead flies and insects on the draining board, food and drink stains all over the bin, toilet was gross, the whole interior and floors didn't look like they had been cleaned for years, it was revolting and hugely embarssing that we had bought this as a present! The most shocking thing was the boat had a poster inside saying it had been deep cleaned to comply with Covid legislation!!! The boat does not seat 12 people as stated and we kept 2 to 4 people off the boat at all times just to have some room to sit. Such a shame but wouldn't recommend to anyone.
