The location is great, it takes about 8 mins walk to Paddington station and 3 mins walk to the central line station. The hotel staff is quite friendly but the room itself is very very old. This could be a good choice if you are staying for just 1-2 nights and spending most of your time out hotel.

Stayed here a couple of years ago. AC in bedroom was incredible (as it was extremely hot outside when we visited). Rooms was small but still comfy. However, the thing that makes me give this 5 stars is not the rooms, but rather the location and the service. Location: Hyde Park just across the street, and a close walk to the shopping streets of London. You also have a boutique for bottle water etc that is open late just around the corner, as well as a really nice pub with great food (The Swan). Staff: We ordered a beer and when the beer glass was 95% they told us that its not okay and gave us another glass for free that was filled to the top. When we ask about locations in London such as London Eye, Tower Bridge etc. They were very assistant and showed us where, offered to call us a cab there, and even booked us the ticket for London Eye. The service was 1000%. They even fixed us a cab all the way to Gatwick Airport on our way home.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Convenient location Cons: Expensive Excessive noise from neighboring rooms Small walls, allowing for easy sound transmission from adjacent bedrooms Limited noise insulation from the street, making it difficult to sleep peacefully Small bathroom with cramped space, uncomfortably close to the walls while using the facilities Overall, the Corus Hotel in London has some positive aspects, such as the friendly and accommodating staff as well as its convenient location. However, the negative points including excessive noise from neighboring rooms, inadequate sound insulation from the street, and small bathroom facilities with limited space, greatly affected the overall experience.

Booked as a vacation package, thought I was getting a double room at a 4 star hotel, was stuck in a economy room that was basically a large closet. Shower was so small I could barely fit in it. There was only a pedastal sink in the bathroom. Barely floor space to open my suitcase. Basically doubled the price of the room to add another guest. Basically paid for an extra day when I tried to check in early. Horrible experience. Avoid
