My daughter has a terrific time learning with Corrie. He clearly is an expert in his field but that doesn't stop him from working well with youngsters. He is patient, caring and creative. Thanks, Corrie!

My son (aged 8) has really enjoyed his lessons with Corrie. Corrie has engaged him in a playful, patient and creative way. I feel that Corrie has not only encouraged my son to explore his interest in drums, but has also welcomed and accepted his playfulness and personality in lessons. It has been lovely to see him comfortable to express himself freely both musically and personally and to watch him learning and gaining confidence in such a gentle, fun, encouraging and accepting way. I imagine that Corrie would be fantastic at tuning into the different needs of a variety of children and adults to help them learn through music and play.

Corrie is an exceptional teacher! I was nervous about starting a new hobby at 37, having never even touched a drum kit before, but his calm and patient demeanour instantly puts you at ease, and his passion for not just drums but music generally is absolutely infectious! I absolutely, 100% recommend Corrie!

Corrie is encouraging and engages with students of all ages and abilities. He communicates well, structures content to incorporate individual tastes and goals, plus gives constructive feedback so that there’s always plenty to work on between lessons. Corrie is both a teacher and a performer which is perfect for keeping perspective and in line within the contemporary music scene. Corrie comes well recommended.

My son was around 10 years old when he started having drum lessons from Corrie. My son really thrived under Corrie's tuition and always came out of those lessons feeling enthused, motivated and supported. Without a doubt, Corrie's positive influence was key to my son developing the skills and, (just as importantly) the confidence, to embark on his own drumming journey after school, taking up a place at Goldsmiths in London to study music, specialising in drumkit. I would highly recommend Corrie to anyone looking for a fantastic drum tutor who is also a really nice guy to work with.

Corrie is an amazing educator, musician and all around great person. He helped me develop in ways I didn't know I could both with drums and with general musicality as well. I definitely wouldn't be where I am today without him!

Corrie is exceptionally good working with young children. My son had drum lessons with Corrie when he was 7. It instilled a confidence and love of music in him and along with his drums now plays saxophone and keyboard. We've been to a couple of Corrie's concerts (pre-covid) and my son really enjoyed seeing "his teacher" with the rest of the musicians playing together.
