Our lawnmower wasn't working for whatever reason being so frustrated i snapped the pull cord off as well! Dropped it off here and they checked it, fixed it and put a new pull cord on. Could pick it up a couple of days later! Quite reasonable priced as well. Saved me at least £150 on a new mower!
