Sunday Roast was simply the best! Our usual five “ Sunday roast “group, were blown away by the food. This included the quality of the roast the taste of the meats and the portion size. The staff were lovely but a little too busy to get quick attention. The five-star rating was still appropriate as the food came quickly once ordered and was just awesome. Four of us had the shared roast option the fifth person had the vegetable sides as a main as was a vegetarian. We are all we could and took the leftovers home to the puppies. We sat inside on a sunny day ate together and then shopped at the markets together. A perfect summer's day.

Went for a late lunch on the bank holiday - ended up staying most of the evening. Fantastic food - wings were amazing - burgers hefty and tasty. My wife had the steak which came exactly as she ordered. Cocktails were all beautifully presented well-balanced and not too pricey. Service excellent throughout too.

It’s a beautiful restaurant and our food was delicious and well presented. However, our experience was marred somewhat by one waiter who was unfriendly bordering on hostile. He began clearing our table before most of us had finished eating our main meal, then asked if we wanted dessert, without showing us a menu. When I asked for some, he brought two- for a table of ten! He never returned. His attitude and ineptitude were in stark contrast to all of his colleagues who were lovely.
