Doesn't help when you look out of your window and see all this floating detritus. Are those body parts in that bag? Stayed here for 2 weeks a very unpleasant stay. Some staff are friendly, however senior staff not so much. Rooms are dated and 3 mornings got into the shower to find there was no hot water. Spoke to staff and they said its a common issue. Food has very limited menu if you're vegetarian and even worse if you're vegan just the 1 main option. View on Quay Side do have nice views. Rooms: Clean and spacious but very dated.

Noteworthy details: The staff are just lovely. I had changed dates due to sudden bereavement and the staff could not have been kinder. Hotel wasn't the most luxurious I have stayed in but I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere with such lovely staff - the housekeeping ladies, catering staff and reception team and manager all eager to please. I rarely leave reviews but wanted to share my very positive experience. The food was delicious too and I had a lovely river view.

The staff are brilliant Ellie and Sam get special mentions, though all the staff were fantastic. The breakfast is good and the restaurant had the best prawn linguine I have ever tasted( although all the meals I had there were fantastic) also the housekeeping staff are so helpful and very through in making your room a pleasent place to stay.Cannot wait to stay again.
