As some what of a fish connisseur and long time fish eater after spending a short time here i have now come out and am proud to say i am a apiscatarian and reccomend it to all those who read it if you think the fish you will be eating have come from this shambolic establishment. Fish is packaged up and if the bag is split is put onto a wooden pallet ( fish touching wooden pallets can lead to splinters of wood contaminating the produce as pointed out by the gentleman who ran the induction enthusiasticaly pointed out) then either sent back to be re sealed or just slapped i to the bottom of a box and put other produce on top to hide it. Team leaders do not bat a eye at this. Safe to say my favoirite period of time at this place was that in which i did not go. 🗑🐟

I don't recommend working at copernus the " bosses" don't help when needed and they look down on you like they are better then you. The "bosses" go on at least 4 -5 breaks a shift like stood around doing nothing is such hard work fml. And my breaks was supposed to be 30 minutes we only get 20 minutes. Also if the fish that has been dropped on to the floor get put under cold water to freeze it and they still bag it up and send it out the shops. A lot of the fish isn't fresh a lot of it is put into a big freezer The best thing about copernus was leaving:)!!

I haven’t personally worked here myself however my partner has. After working there some months and being moved into dispatch we soon found (the fresh fish) wasn’t fresh at all. Creating produce months ahead and hid at the back of the freezers. When machines where down fish was being packed without the correct safety instructions to ensure they didn’t waste any time. However my main reason for this review is this. After a boss has taken the arm of my partner and shaken fresh out the pot coffee all over his hand burning him, as my partner reacted and pushed him out the way he was sacked. This ‘boss’ had 0 repercussions of his actions however the victim who was dismissed unfairly faced not a warning but the sack! Rude people to work with no morals all they care about is getting fish done months before the date needed weather it’s being checked properly or not. Ps I wouldn’t touch fish in your local retailers that’s come from this factory!

this company is an absolute joke. i wouldn’t suggest working here at all, the members are absolutely horrible, rude, stubborn and arrogant. the team leaders don’t even do their job properly, on two occasions I was being belittled and bullied by two team leaders one due to my eye problem I tried explaining my medical issue with not being able to see from a long distance, and she told me she couldn’t care less and on the other occasion I was struggling packaging a box together by myself which I made it clear that I was struggling but the team leader also couldn’t care less. there’s no such thing as teamwork in this company. very disappointed, this job is not worth the hassle at all.
