    A company with zero morals or customer value. I booked an event for 30 of my closest friends to enjoy a Christmas meal here. Unfortunately, as we are in the heart of a pandemic, the inevitable happened and over half of my group developed covid symptoms. I of course cancelled the event inorder to protect our friends AND the staff at coopers hall. I simply asked if we could change the date of the event to January/February, as I had already paid to the tune of £5300. Coopers Hall in return have taken every penny from me even though they delivered zero service, and have said if we book again I'll have to pay yet another £5300. The week before Christmas I now have to tell 30 of my closest friends that everyone has lost their money and we can't even rebook the event for next year. Coopers hall have pocketed £5300 for doing absolutely nothing. They didn't have to serve one dinner, open one bottle of wine, pay for the wages of one waiter. Avoid this place at all costs, for such a high class venue they literally give zero care for their customers. Such a shame, I would have booked at least 3 events here per year if this had gone differently. I absolutely understand I cancelled the event extremely late, however to take ALL our money is just vile. I would have been happy to accept a 20% penalty charge for the food purchased and decorations put up for example. The alcohol purchased could just be put aside until we rebooked though. It's just ludicrous and a horrible way to do business.
