    Really really bad experience. Ordered shutters in September, the website quotes 8 weeks and Cool shutters said before Christmas for installation. The date has then moved to Jan, then Feb etc. it’s now been well over Six months and not only are they not installed I haven’t even had confirmation of a date they will be. If I don’t get a timing update this week I’ll contact my bank and try and get a refund. Update April 20th: We requested a refund via email and cool shutters within 14 days. We didn't response in writing. We will now begin a small claims court proceeding.

    I’ve been waiting for 5 months for the shutters phoned the office today and was told they had no official feedback on when they would arrive maybe in a couple of weeks. This company is seriously either hiding something or totally disorganised shocking

    Same issue as many others. An incomplete job they have no interest in rectifying despite my numerous attempts to get them to sort. This has been going on for 3 years it's actually laughable now. I currently have a shutter that is a completely different colour to the rest. Previously the incorrect shape was ordered THREE TIMES so we waited patiently for them to get remade and sent from China.... Was promised by the owner he would make amends. I haven't heard from him since. I will be seeking legal action if we get no resolution which looks to be the case. It's such a shame they can't deliver beyond their initial sales pitch.

    We were expecting the blinds in November. It's now February and not only have we not had them fitted, no one will answer the phone or reply to my emails. They have basically taken my £1500 and now I can't get hold of them. Next plan to visit them in person and ask for a full refund, and then its onto small claims court as other reviewers have said. Do not use this company.

    Like others on here, it seems like Cool Shutters are happy to just not complete jobs. My shutters were fitted almost 6 months and because the person who came to measure up was incompetent, they measured 3 of my 4 window shutters incorrectly and left them unfinished. They advised it would be a further 16wks to get the extra pieces but of course because I have paid in full they appear to have no interest in finishing the job. As also mentioned by others, their customer service skills are zero and we have now taken legal advice to rectify the losses that we have incurred. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please take notice of the negative reviews that consistently appear to be about when there are errors made with the ordering process, they seem to be unwilling to fix their own mistakes. I have had nothing but stress for almost a year after forking out over £3.5k on shutters to a company with absolutely no morals and who should not be in business.

    It's been 2 months since my last review which outlined my concerns, and coincidentally as soon as I posted the review Caleb contacted me to apologise for the delay and guaranteed me that our replacement shutter would be fitted by the end of October... safe to say once again I've had no contact, no updates, no phone call... so after placing our original order in June/July last year, we STILL haven't had the job finished... honestly I'm astounded at this and have begun the claim with County Court to have that fees associated with the inorrect shutter returned to myself and my husband.

    Really pleased with our new shutters from Cool Shutters! I had three quotes from different companies. Cool Shutters was impressive right from the start. They measured carefully, noting where one of the windows was a bit off, and helped me match up the right color / finish to complement the room. It took a while before the redecoration of my flat was completed, and Cool Shutters cheerfully stored the bespoke shutters for me after they were finished. I highly recomment Cool Shutters - professional work, beautiful results.

    Unfortunately what started as a great experience has turned sour due to a large bedroom window shutter arriving incorrectly, then being ordered/replaced incorrectly again by the company. Despite many attempts to speak with them and resolve the issue of the incorrect shutter that has been ongoing now for a year, they have chosen to avoid my calls and emails and instead provide no solution or answers. We have again called today to seek an update and informed the lady we spoke to that unless we have a response in writing today regarding the matter and the significantly overdue correct blind being delivered/installed we will progress to taking this matter to small claims court. I will remind you that as a customer I am protected under the consumer rights act, and as it stands you/cool shutters are in breach of my rights. I will not chase this matter up with you again, the next contact from me will be a claim for the full cost of that shutter. Should you wish to avoid this action strongly encourage you to return our calls/emails and resolve this issue.
