Delivery and packaging of continuous hinge very good. Quality of hinge very poor. Very bowed and seems to be under stress when trying to close it. Cut the 6ft length into 200mm pieces and still bowed. This is 3rd or 4th order, always bowed but the worst yet.

Placed an order at 14.38 and chose 48 hour delivery and even though their cut-off is 3pm as they told me over the telephone. It never shipped because it didn't reach them until after the cut-off time, so it mean't getting it Monday. On top of the £7.50 delivery I had to pay another £20 to get it next day, will not be using them again. The only reason I used them instead of Ironmongery Direct was they had PayPal payment option, but you still had to put in all your details. So it ended up being just as laborious as registering on their site and putting your card details in. Well that's funny because I paid by bank transfer(faster payments!) for the shipping, so you can't refund it, only through the original PayPal transaction!

I’d been looking for a strong continuous hinge for a few weeks and found Cooke brothers online, I filled out the form for a quote and Charlotte emailed back with a price. I called them the next day and ordered the hinge with Charlotte who was very friendly and polite. My order arrived 2 days later and I’m very happy with the quality of the hinge.

Have been dealing with Cooke Brothers for many years, great products and amazing customer service. Hayley always call me back on time, and if enquiries run past official office hours they've repeatedly made the effort to make contact/ reply to emails out of office hours to ensure in turn I can respond to my clients. Their rep once delivered goods to my house late on Friday night when we had a rush job Saturday morning, which not a lot of other companies in the industry would do.
