We had had a leak from the shower tray which had come through the kitchen ceiling on a couple of occasions. He went to the root cause of the problem and solved it. The standard of his work is excellent. He is extremely orderly and works cleanly. He left the house tidy and clean at the end of each day. We used James and Contour Plastering & Tiling for a water escape issue from an ensuite shower. We needed to find the source of the leak and repair any damage as a result of this leak. James was excellent, right from meeting him for the first time to job completion. The job entailed retiling and fixing any further damage from the leak including redecorating where needed. James is thoroughly professional. Once work was agreed, James did what he said he would do and would always tidy up after each day. The attention to detail of the tiling is excellent, with clean lines and excellent detail to the grout. We would have no hesitation in recommending James and in fact have Contour Plastering & Tiling lined up for further work. Further to this, we found James responsive and would always get to back us in a timely manner. He would update us on the progress of his work through videos and photos so you could see the progress of his work in real time. His confidence is reflected in his work and you know you are in safe hands. The other added bonus is that you do get a "one stop shop" for maintenance/home improvement; tiling, plastering, plumbing, electrical and decorating work.
