I’m not sure how many stars to give. I recently began to look into using Continental Nurse as a nurse from the US with 9 years experience. Their FB ads/website advertise 3 month assignments all around the UK with housing provided. After submitting my information and getting connected with a recruiter, I was told the commitment is 1-2 years, I would have one month of free housing and then I would have to find my own, options were London or Cambridge, and I would be making less than $18/hr. This information felt wildly incongruent with what they advertise online. This could suit plenty of people, but it won’t work for me. It especially makes me question the integrity of the organization. Strange experience.

Continental made moving to the UK and getting my licence in nursing very easy. However. Once I was over there they tried to take every penny they could due to technicalities, they threatened to charge me unreal amounts of money when I wanted to move back to Canada because covid hit and my country was closing its borders (so I got stuck in the UK), and they were just genuinely helpless. I was burnt out mid covid due to working in emergency and my recruiter said to me "why are you so tired? I heard it isn't that busy". They are unsympathetic and very unhelpful to staff. I would recommend using them to get to the UK and then finding your own job. But in general just don't use them at all.
