What services does your government office provide to the public?

We provide consular services to Romanian citizens living in the UK, as well as assistance to British citizens who want to travel to Romania. This includes issuing visas, passports, and travel documents, as well as providing notarial and legal services. We also promote cultural, economic and academic exchange between Romania and the UK through various events and initiatives.

Are there any deals or discounts available for purchasing tickets or packages?

As a government office, we do not provide discounts or packages for tourist attractions. However, we can provide information and advice on the best deals available for visitors to Romania, as well as assist with any travel-related questions or issues.

What is the best time of year to visit the attractions in the area?

Romania has a diverse range of attractions that can be enjoyed throughout the year. The best time to visit depends on the specific attraction and your personal preferences. For example, the summer months are ideal for hiking in the Carpathian Mountains, while the winter is perfect for skiing in the same area. The spring and autumn are great for exploring the countryside and visiting historic towns and cities. We recommend researching the attractions you are interested in and planning your trip accordingly.

Are there any restrictions or limitations for certain attractions (e.g. age requirements, physical abilities)?

Some attractions in Romania may have age or health restrictions due to safety concerns. For example, certain hiking trails in the mountains may require a certain level of fitness and experience. It is best to check with individual attractions before visiting to ensure that you are able to participate in any activities. Additionally, some historical sites or museums may not be wheelchair accessible, so it is important to check in advance if this is a concern.

What are the cancellation and refund policies for tickets or packages?

We do not provide tickets or packages for tourist attractions, so we cannot speak to the cancellation and refund policies of individual businesses. It is best to check with the specific attraction or tour provider before purchasing tickets to see what their policies are in case of cancellation or change of plans.

I don't know how everyone else's experience with them was, but mine and my wife's was very positive. They moved fast even though we were late at our appointment, the lady who helped us was kind and professional. We stood there for a total of 30 minutes maximum to renew our passports. Great job!

I meant the most unhelpful staff, rude and didn’t take the time to read my documents. Ask for my flight details clearly showed on the paper where I was flying from and to. Worst experience ever

(Translated by Google) To go there you need an appointment, this is not taken into account, and you stand in lines for an hour or more. If you arrive later, you are no longer allowed to enter, and the next appointment date is only a few months away. But are you really not ashamed? When I arrive on time, I stay behind others, and if I'm a little late for unforeseen reasons, I lose the appointment???? I lost a day of vacation, time and money... because after me I have to make a passport for the baby, and in the meantime you receive Roma families, some even without appointments, with 4-5 children each. Well, that's why don't take us if we're a little late! Hal of the consulate, a total disorganization. The ladies from civil status documents take 2,3 people at a time and don't finish with any of them, they stay there with a small child for hours, because they always have something else to do 😡 only what is necessary!!!

(Translated by Google) Made in Romania. The same reception system as in Romania. The staff at the entrance do not know the Romanian language, which is not normal. I had the appointment at 1:15 p.m., but this was not taken into account. First come first served, queue just like bread. Appointment time or order number is not taken into account. I managed to enter a counter at 14:10, an hour later than the appointment time. Payment only in cash and if possible 52£, because the lady has no change and asks her colleagues if anyone has 10£ to change. We are and will remain the laughingstock of Europe. (Original) Made in Romania.
