  Helpful advice and good follow up Omar, Oliver & team have been very helpful in finding builders and managing my project. They have advised on how best to deal with certain issues that have arisen during the project, in particular toward the end of it which drags on much longer than one would want. In particular I would commend them on their follow up / customer service which is often lacking in this industry. I would use their services again.

  This company doesn't do what they say they do. They have a few builders who first come to you and do a great job of selling their services, then they go and find sun contractors who do not provide service with the way it was presented. STAY AWAY from them and only go with recommended builders from your own community , try Nextdoor app , anything will give you better result

  I used Construction Supermarket as I was on the lookout for builders to complete my home extension. The team were very prompt with sending contractors through who were able to quote within a 10 day window. Very useful when comparing quotes. I managed to view work from all 3 contractors and speak to their clients direct which was useful. I went ahead with one of the contractors and we are almost at completion. I know Construction Supermarket are not involved in the actual build of the project but they have been very kind in helping with advice and ensuring I used milestones to release my payments.

  We were delighted with the promise, the charming introductions, and the choices of contractors. Maybe we were unlucky but £39,239.11 down, 12 months over the completion date, we have finally finished our nightmare. Construction Supermarket introduced us to Mick from London North South Builders. It turns out he has several CCJ against him, his address was bogus, as was his insurance. The structural drawings were not followed, and much of the work had to be redone or corrected. Some of the subcontractors were cruelly not paid, (including one bricky who is now back in Ukraine defending his country). Construction Supermarket were informed all the way through, but said they could only try and persuade the contractor, and were not the project managers. When Mick walked off the site having pocketed a lot of the contract fee, Construction Supermarket promised to help find another contractor. That was the last we heard from them, and calls were not returned. They recommended Mick to at least 4 other people we have heard of, including some KNOWING the nightmare we were having. Unfortunately, they have all ended as badly as it did for us. If you use them, remember that the contractor pays their fee, and that is where their interests lie ultimately. Tread very carefully, the charming and reassuring salesmanship is very compelling.

  Our experience with CS is a very bad one; we engaged with them for the sourcing of builders for a small extension to our family house. They suggested a list of 3 companies from which they strongly recommended one. We followed the recommendation and selected the company recommended by CS. The company in question (BOLT Construction) was an absolute disaster; poor quality work, delays, non-existing project management skills. Moreover, when the building company wanted to be paid in advance for work still outstanding, CS recommended we comply. This was a bad decision, as work never continued, was never finalised and we ended up having to complete the work ourselves. We have subsequently taken the case to the court and have received compensation. In addition to their recommendation of a company which was clearly not credible, CS submitted wrong drawings and are still refusing to take responsibility for this. We have engaged in a separate legal case with CS to recover our losses. We are are extremely disappointed with the delivery from CS and would never recommend them to anybody.

  I found Construction Supermarket by chance. A friend of mine received a letter but her plans were rejected so I nipped in to give these guys a call. From the initial conversation through to receiving quotes and even selecting a builder they were there to help. Ben was very helpful during the process and even went to the lengths of contacting my external builders to ensure they had quoted on items via my SOW. Very happy to recommend. I genuinely don’t think you’ll find a better, more personal service.
