Rudeness to the max level, that black lady there she’s so rude. My parents went there do to their passport unfortunately they didn’t have all the documents needed and the way she was handling the situation was not professional at ALL. Complained about not using the phone inside when she’s the first one to use to use it and send voice notes to her friends

We had an appointment recently at the Italian Consulate in Manchester to do my partner's first passport as an Italian citizen. My partner is from outside the UK and we live together in the UK. This was the final step in a long process and we were naturally very anxious that things would go well. After reading the reviews we were nervous that despite following all the instructions the people there could find some minor detail incorrect. However, everything was absolutely fine. We took along:- - The completed Prenotare Form available on the Manchester Consulate Esteri site which we filled out by hand, filled out on the computer on Word and took along 2 blank copies just in case. The copy used was the one we filled out on Word. - A proof of address - although this was not asked for - Photos that met the clear guidelines on the form which you can easily find on Google as well - The money in Cash - All other forms that we had from the citizenship process - They asked to see a form showing our marriage registration in Italy. Our appointment was one of the first in the morning. The security guard was perfectly pleasant and just checked our names and we went up to the room. We met another security guard upstairs who was again very pleasant and instructed us to leave our things in a locker. The person who attended my partner simply asked for the forms, filled in the details on the computer, registered finger prints and asked for payment which probably took around 15m/20m and then told us to come back in an hour to pick up the passport. We came back in a hour, went up to the desk to make sure they knew we were they and within 5 minutes or so were called up, signed a form and picked up our change from payment and the passport. I have nothing negative to say about the process which was perfectly efficient. There were other people there who seemed very confused and didn't seem to necessarily be following proper processes. I think it's important to just follow instructions and remember that the people there at the Consulate don't always have an easy job to do. I would like to thank everyone there and wish them all the best! Just as a final comment this is a review on the process of picking up the passport / the in person process and not on the appointment booking process which of course is a totally different question!

(Translated by Google) No respect for people. No reply to emails. Months and months to make an appointment which then fail due to the incompetent service of the operators. I would ask the Italian state to improve these services. (Original) Nessun rispetto per le persone. Nessuna risposta alle mail. Mesi e mesi per prendere appuntamento che poi vanno a vuoto per incompetente servizio dei operatori. Chiederei allo stato italiano di migliorare questi servizi.

(Translated by Google) I still don't understand why this consulate is so dysfunctional. But who are responsible? do these people get paid? How is it possible that there is still so much delay? How is it possible that not even an appointment in 2024 could have managed to get? The same for renewing the identity card. It is not possible that citizens have to jump through hoops to get a simple appointment, if anything, public employees should do it and demonstrate a good service since it is the citizens who pay taxes and also their salary. We need a complete renewal of the staff. It's a shame.

(Translated by Google) I gave zero if I could. I urgently need to get a passport for my son. I have been trying to contact for a MONTH both by email and call and THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION. What should I do come up there? To be told probably that they don't know at what stage I'm passport!!! I'm already arriving on spare change at the end of the month and I couldn't afford to get to Manchester just to hear excuses or useless things. BUT COULD IT BE THAT WE HAVE TO ALWAYS BE THE USUAL ITALIANS WITH USELESS AND NOT WORKING SYSTEMS?! There's a big reason we left there. And this is a clear example of why…shameful. (Original) Se potevo davo zero. Devo urgentemente fare il passaporto per mio figlio. Ho provato a contattare da un MESE sia via email che chiamata e NON ESISTE COMUNICAZIONE. Cosa devo fare venire fino a lì?

If you have forgotten why you moved away from Italy in the first place go here. Everyone working is clueless and takes forever. Out of the 4 people before me, after fighting for an appointment they sent 3 home without a passport for any little reason. Don't bother

AFTER THREE MONTHS AND HALF. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 This is an update about my last feedback everything was going well when I went to collect my passport they told me we can give only a one-year renewal, I asked why they said my date of birth can't find on the system I need to go to Italy to fix the problem then said we can't do it here, I had two passports from them and now why can't fix them and how they can't find my date of birth, I was confused as to why we have a consulate when they can't fix their errors is being three months and a half they told me they going to send me an email I haven't received anything from them still waiting.😡
