No visit to the UK is complete for me without fish and chips. And that's exactly what I ordered at the Conningbrook Hotel restaurant. It was satisfying, although I wasn't a fan of the chunky chips. The haddock was perfectly crisp till the end of the meal and honestly that's all that matters to me. The service was a bit slow but the wait staff were really sweet and attentive. Food & drinks: Nice restaurant attached to the hotel. The lunch menu especially looked very good.

We visited the Conningbrook Hotel weekend of the 28th of April and were served consistently well by Alfie and his team all weekend. The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind, caring and efficient. I’ve never come across an entire team of people that were so Consistent in their customer service skills. All the staff there deserve a medal for their hard work and dedication. They had smiles on their faces all weekend and they all went the extra mile every time we asked or need anything! We will DEFINITELY visit again soon. Aurelia Broadbent-White

Lovely place to enjoy a drink, but that was all I will recommend. Thought I would try the ABBA tribute with a group of friends. The 2 ladies ( why no men ? ABBA Were a 4 piece ) could hardly be heard where we were sitting, and i left when they ran out of ABBA singles and started singing Joan Jett and other groups songs. Sorry, but if a tribute, then be more realistic and only sing the artists songs Would certainly give it a miss next time
