Great place to visit with a range of fun things to do. The splash pad is more of a playground with a couple of water jets than a full splash pad The play areas are well maintained and fun. We did have an injury but the first aid staff were brilliant and looked after us well. The bare foot walk is good, there are washing and drying facilities at the end. The little train which ran to the other side is a nice touch and is very popular and runs evey 10 - 15 mins. The playground at the Waterside is much bigger but the wobbly bridges were a bit disappointing and there didn't seem as much to do over there. We didn't do any of the indoor activities as the weather was good. Food is nice and well priced, just a bit of a wait during busy periods. We visited as a family of four ( 2 children aged 9 and 7).

Went for a visit to Conkers discovery centre, the visit was on a really nice day, the price for 2 adults and a 5 year old was £29.95 which would have been fine as the outdoor stuff was good fun however inside the discovery centre was disappointing a lot of the machines and discovery activities were broken. If these we fixed then absolutely this is a great place to go for families

Visited several times as a kid but recently revisited as an adult with a niece/nephew. While the overall outdoor side of the park was still great, with several good play parks and outdoor activities for all ages and the train, it is starting to feel dated. The indoor exhibition hasn't changed too much since my visits with school back 10-15 years ago, with alot of items not working or turned on when we visited. It's still good for the price and we spent all day exploring the different areas of the park The cafe in the main discovery centre was overpriced for food which wasn't great and the service was dire. Overall the outdoor sections are good but would recommend a pack lunch!
