I love visiting Concrete and Cacti, a tiny shop bursting with beautiful plant pots and plants . The owner, Laura creates the most beautiful stuff, all on the premises and is super knowledgeable about the plants she has available. She has a great range on offer with really affordable prices the only hard thing is limiting myself to not buying the whole shop.

Sadly poor quality and terrible service. We bought several things at Seaham Food Festival in Aug 2022. We then bought multiple concrete letters spelling West Farm. The letters were delivered almost 2 months after ordering them. It took so long, we were on holiday when they eventually arrived. When we got home and opened the package, one of the letters were smashed and others do not stand straight. We asked for a replacement of the smashed letter. Despite multiple emails and reassurances of a replacement letter, nothing has ever arrived. It is now April 2023 and we oringally ordered in August 2022. Truly terrible service and the quality is sadly very poor. See pictures of the smashed letter that we have had to glue and the wonky letters / poor quality.

This is my favourite shop ever! I have bought so many things for myself and as gifts for people. They always go above and beyond to advise and assist, I've had so many customised things and they always advise if it will work and if not will suggest other alternatives to try instead. All my plants from over the years are thriving and people always comment on them and the wonderful pots (particularly the wonderful and unusual braided snake plant) My only negative is that I want everything and I keep having to find new places for new items I have my eye on!! Can't wait for my next visit :)

Came across this amazing shop at last year’s Bishop Auckland Food Festival. Since then I have purchased an array of pots and plants for my home and also purchased personalised pots as gifts. The owners work is first class with incredible knowledge about the plants she sells. It was great to see her this weekend at the food festival with such an amazing display of her creations. Would highly recommend.

Amazing products and fantastic service. We took a while choosing what we wanted and asked for advice on plants we would be able to keep alive. We were given so much help, but we were never pushed into buying anything. We got home with out three pots & plants and then headed straight back to buy another one. Would 100% recommend for your home or for gifts. Thank you for fabulous service!

Christmas order of 2x braided Cacti. They were braided and bound too tightly and both cacti are suffering. The company didn’t response to an email so I tried the ‘contact us’ section of the website. They responded asking for an email which I sent again. No response. Tried contact us again. No responses. Lovely thought. Efficiently and securely packaged but overall poor quality and now I’ve lost most of both cacti as the roots rotted due to the very tight binding. 🤷♂️

What a fantastic shop. As soon as you walk through the door a beautiful aroma hits you and then your eyes widen and you become that “little child in a sweetie shop” moving from one superbly hand made item to another. You just have to purchase something when you go in. The seasonal gifts are spectacular including the Pumpkins, Stags Heads, Stars and the Green Christmas Trees. You can’t believe everything is handmade and all packaging is recyclable. I also have to mention the fabulous customer service with a smile and the enthusiasm from all those who work in the shop. They don’t “pounce” on you but are always on hand to give advice, change and re-pot a plant for another and finally wrap your purchases with love and care. All I can say is that I will be returning not only for a new larger pot for Colin the Cacti (which is having a growing spurt and a new appendage is beginning to sprout), but also to purchase my Christmas gifts, especially the Christmas Trees and a personalized dog bowl along with a couple of Potted Plants. Thank you Laura and your great team
