1 star may not be fare as it was roughly 2003 I had dealings with this charity. Went for a day volunteering in IT. The bench setups for testing all the kit was fine but no one appeared to be checking the work of the packers. I saw two PCs packed away with no power leads which we were told were required. They had people there on license from prison who clearly didn't care, it was just a way to get out of prison for a while. One said as much. Got introduced to the director at the time who looked like he was enjoying the trips abroad too much instead of the business side of the trips. His office was massive. Then you get to the worst part, one of many why I never went back. The toliets. Its law that if you have a certain amount of staff, charity or not, you are required to provide adequate toilet facilities. They didn't. It was one big room shared that was in disrepair. There was no lock on the main door just a sign. One cubicle inside and that's it. It was a mess. Considering how big the directors office was you'd think he'd have spent more making the staff comfortable. Sort that out and more people would of volunteered and stayed. The place was awful. I've never been back and avoided them ever since.
