  Bought a composite door from this team, and from the beginning they dealt with my multiple phone calls to confirm the product details exactly. Very patient ladies on the end of the phone throughout. We decided to use our own fitter as it was pre-paid in our builders works and the shop didn't cause any fuss. 6 months in, we found the product itself had a defect - the manufacturer had forgotten to add weep holes to the door so the water was draining into the porch (this is the only reason I put a 4/5 stars as I would expect something like this to be called up in a quality check). I called up the Composite Door Shop, and again the ladies and manager were helpful enough to chase through with the manufacturer, and even sent their own door fitter to come and fix the problem free of charge - knowing it wasn't our mistake. I didn't even have to push for this, they offered this service without questions. I was blown away by the honesty, and a real family-type feel to ensuring the customer is taken care of. I'm in the large-scale construction industry myself, and I do believe that if every trade and consultant I worked with were honest enough to admit a mistake and rectify, the whole industry would run much smoother! Thank you to the whole Composite Door Team for this service.

  Very disappointing & rude service following an unsuitable door being fitted... We selected this company to supply a new door to our busy clinic, unfortunately there is a severe lack of information on the website when using their outwardly useful online design service there is no notifications that seemingly aesthetic changes result in fundamental changes the the function of the door. In our case they have fitted a door system that locks everytime the door is closed... this is despite paying for survey and install service that the website quotes as being able to discuss technical aspects and amend the order accordingly. Most galling however, is having to deal with the "director" Steve, who has cost me best part of 3 shifts emailing back and forth blatantly stonewalling. Despite having a survey team specifically for this purpose, he is claiming he can't be expected to guess my needs as a customer and therefore I am solely responsible as I should have researched things like lock websites before ordering a door. The door itself is almost enough for me to give them a second star in this review, but would warn against using this company and specifically their online design service as the website is as unfit for purpose as the door ended up being! ;(

  Very good experience from start to finish. Everything was discussed on the phone followed by a visit to my premises to confirm the order and measurements taken. Quote was very reasonable to supply door, fit and dispose of the old door. The door was delivered on time and fitted by a competent fitter.

  Although I like the door. I'm extremely displeased with the service I've received following a manufacturing error. I paid extra to get everything measured but the wrong glass side panel was made. So now we have a board where our glass should be. It's been a week now and no one from the company has told us what's going on. They haven't responded to my last email, voicemail and when my husband rang and they said they would update us today they haven't. I think it's so rude to just ignore our messages and not to update us even if it's just to explain the issue with the supplier. I just hope burglars don't take advantage of our lack of security.

  I've purchased two doors from the composite door shop on separate occasions, and both times I've been really pleased and impressed by the service, the product and the price. On both occasions I ordered a solid core composite door - one standard door for the back, one door with two side lights for the front. Both times I ordered the door for installation myself. Both times the door was delivered within 14 days of ordering, arriving well packed and as ordered. I did note a small amount of damage to one of the trim sections, but a single call and a replacement part was sent to me with no questions asked - arriving within 24hrs! The doors are really great quality and fairly easy to install (albeit they are heavy!!). Before I ordered I had a few questions, and Steve and team answered these brilliantly. All-in-all I've had a really positive experience of dealing with the Composite Door Shop, would definitely order from them for a third time (if I needed to), and have no problems at all in recommending them to family and friends!

  We decided to purchase a door from this company and had it installed in January 2019. Everything was fairly straightforward, from designing our door, making payment and arranging the installation. And we couldn't fault the level of customer service. However, since having the door installed, it has been the door from hell. The lock that we chose was top spec...even came with a key ring that advertises guaranteed compensation if anyone manages to break in using the lock - it's so burglar proof that I have been locked out of my own home on numerous occasions because the key doesn't work until the 5th plus attempt at gaining entry! The door has marks on it too (which have already been painted over once by the door fitters) where it keeps clashing/meeting the frame. This company has been great in the sense that each time we've experienced an issue they have dealt with the matter promptly, and arranged for Martindales to come out and fix the problems, but it has been over a year now. No rehanging, or changing screws hinges and lock systems seems to be making it any better, but only fixes the problem short term. I would not recommend that anyone use this company to purchase a door. Whether it's an issue with the manufacturing of the door or it was just initially poorly installed I dont know, but I would advise anyone buying a composite door just spend a couple 100 extra and go with a reputable door fitter rather that use this company. I would go into greater detail of how upset I am with my whole experience, but I am just tired of it all and sick of the problems not being permanently fixed.

  Buying a composite front door can be challenging at the best of time, let alone online. However, one phone call to this company changed all that! All options discussed, made clear, dimensions double checked and confidenxe reassured! Door arrived on time, packaged very well, all bits present and everything to a very good standard. Fitted the door myself today and now one happy customer! Would definitely recommend the Composite door shop to anyone!!

  Because IDDIM (I don't do it myself) I chose the fitted option. One advantage of this is the process for getting a quote. All you need do is choose the bits you want and submit. Anything not included will be added either by the sales team or the surveyor when he comes to measure the door. Very helpful staff when I called. Calls answered by the company not a call centre. Door was fitted by two friendly guys who caused no damage (no re-plastering for example).
