The Ripponden Wine Co is, quite simply, the best wine merchant you could ever wish to visit. You'll get a warm welcome, a knowledgeable host, who loves nothing more than helping you find things you know you'll love and surprising you with choices that will quickly become favourites. Ray is so passionate about his subject matter and it shines through every time you walk into a shop. Have never, ever been disappointed but the wine he has chosen for us and now we just say 'pick 6/12 bottles that you know we'll love' and he gets it right every time.

Incredible service and great wines! I live in Houston, TX, and wanted to get my friend (who lives in Halifax) some wine for her 40th birthday. After searching for a few minutes online, I came across Ripponden Wine Co. I looked at their website and quickly found a contact number to call. I called and spoke to Ray, told him my situation, and he very quickly understood my need, came up with a solution, and delivered the beautiful box of wine - all within a 3hr period!!!! It was incredible. Ray communicated which wines he had chosen and sent pictures, giving information on each bottle of wine along with the grape's origin/blend etc. What a true master of his trade! I knew I was in good, professional hands. Ray had the wine boxed up beautifully and hand-delivered it to my friend, who was thrilled with the gift. I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Ripponden Wine Co. I would highly recommend them.
