CAS have resolved the problem described below although one set at least is still draughty and potentially needs wider gaskets apparently, but installer somewhat slow to deal with this .BACKGROUND:We purchased 3 sets of French doors and a three section run of patio doors. Since day one ie last summer when the doors were installed the patio doors are very difficult to lock in fact you have to go outside to initiate the locking and then complete the process indoors. Our supplier LB Windows and doors say they have filled multiple requests for service. But so far sweet F.ALL.. so well doonritish firms just a bunch of tossers

Complete Aluminium Rating Zero Stars Complete Aluminium are more a “Complete Disappointment”! The product and the promises failed to live up to expectations and consumers should consider carefully whether they want their builder to source their windows or doors from this company. The so-called customer service, since our bi-fold doors and a large aluminium window were installed, has been poor. 1. Complete Avoidance – the company will not deal with us, even though we are the end-user and the consumer of their products. They will only deal with our builder. This is frustrating and makes a joke of their so-called customer service. Promises apparently made to our builder to sort out all the problems never materialised. 2. Complete Abdication – their attitude was that as soon as it left their premises it was not their problem. Any scratches that appeared must have been caused in the transportation or fitting. This must include, then, their poor mitre joints which our builder said were poor! 3. Complete Myopia – They said, via the builder, that they may only be concerned if any blemishes can be seen from 2 metres away. Yet many of the scratches and blemishes can be seen from much further away. They cannot all have been done by the builder, or if they were, the product is not robust enough to withstand reasonable handling. Apparently, the builder has installed many such windows from Complete Aluminium and has never had such problems. Many of the scratches and blemishes are visible from over 2 metres but this arbitrary distance is an insult, especially if there are numerous blemishes which detract from the overall look! 4. Complete Shoddiness - I believe the poor workmanship around the mitres are apparent to see. There is a big difference between the mitres we have to apparently live with and the showroom. 5. Complete Cover-Up – the bifold doors and windows were delivered with a protective grease on them that the builder had not seen before and which arguably covered up a number of blemishes particularly the mitre joints. Was any quality assurance review done before this grease was added or did someone forget to do it? 6. Complete Joke – drafts are coming through the bi-fold hinges and the “closed” trickle vents. This makes a complete fiasco of the product! Complete Aluminium have let us down. Use them at your peril.
