Telly worked with our daughter who has severe oro-motor dyspraxia, focusing on speech production. The sessions started off as weekly face-to-face during which time we saw a pronounced impact on our daughters ability to form both sounds and words. Our daughter also has learning disabilities but Telly was able to adapt her techniques and strategies to ensure that our daughter maintained concentration and fully participated. When Telly moved to New York we continued her sessions using video calling, and it with he relationship they had built up and the different ways in which Telly ran the sessions these were a great success. Telly was happy to work alongside her school SLT and the Nuffield Speech & Hearing centre to ensure there was a multi-disciplinary approach and consistency with the help my daughter was receiving.
