    I always think if anyone looked in the window at 6.30am in Bishopthorpe they would think we were crazy... but I really enjoy it for lots of reasons: - it may be EARLY but there is a great sense of camaraderie and support that is really helpful. You want to do well for yourself but also want others to do well - I looked today and have lost about 11lbs and inches off all over - and importantly kept it off for at least 2 years. - The holistic approach and wider support works and you can take as much - or as little - from it as you need to depending where you are personally at any one time. - I went skiing last year for the first time in 10 years and (as well as still fitting my ski gear) I did the best skiing I have ever done: I was strong as well as fit. - The owner really cares about his clients and his business - and it shows.

    I love going to the classes because it's so friendly and supportive and I always leave wanting more. You start at your own level and work your way up as you get fitter. I love how the trainers get just as excited and proud of you as you are when the results start to show. Not your average boring gym, this is so much fun!

    It was daunting to start. I was nervous and ashamed of how unfit and unhealthy I had let myself become. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The only competition is with yourself - the workouts are such that you really can only concentrate on yourself and how you are doing. They can be stretching and difficult, especially in your first week, yet I come away each time feeling fantastic and energised (though sometimes the next morning I am a wee bit achy). You are pushed to achieve the best you can within your own capabilities and all exercises can be scaled so if you have injuries or difficulties with certain things, you don't miss out on getting a good workout. You notice your own improvements and it becomes kind of addictive. The trainers are awesome and friendly, but know how to push you when you need it and always encourage you to do your best. Other members are fun and very friendly, and everyone is extremely supportive of everyone. I love going and whilst my journey has been slower than others, I am proud of the improvements I am making and can't see myself ever going back to a 'normal' gym. Going for the first time was a really hard thing as I was so nervous but I am really pleased and proud to be a member now - I love it.

    From the minute you walk in, you're welcomed, there's no cliques here! Everyone is supportive and friendly. I love that every workout is different and you never know what the workout will be, so you don't get bored! You feel part of a team where everyone encourages each other. Craig & his team are fab & will always push you to work harder. You WILL see results. Absolutely 100% recommend.

    I was nervous about signing up at the start I didn't know anyone & wasn't sure what to expect. But the instructors Craig & Henry have been great. They are helpful & supportive but push you when you need to. They seem to know each individuals capabilities & can tailor the exercises if needed. I've been going 4 months 3 times a week & I've yet to have a duplicate session! That's brill because if you're not really feeling up for it you have no idea what it will be so its not like you know whats ahead! Those days that I've not felt like going but got myself there I have felt so much better for going! So far I have lost nearly 2 stone & many inches off my waist, bum & legs, I feel so much better about myself! I'm still a work in progress & would like to lose more but this works along with healthy eating I am both physically & psychologically in a better place than I was 4 months ago! Everyone is so friendly I have met lots of lovely people & we have such a laugh you leave sweaty & smiling what more can you ask for!
