Just returned from 2 nights here and found it very disappointing. No showers - I had assumed 'toilet block' meant there would be showers. The toilets themselves were disgusting, only 4 womens for the whole campsite (counted 80 something pitches). At least one was always blocked, floors and sinks dirty every time I went, no locks on doors, open sanitary bins and no provision of toilet roll or soap - after a pandemic!? Apparently there had been problems with the state in which people left them so they decided to remove toilet roll, which seems a weird decision - not sure why that would solve it. You don't even get an email in advance to say you'll need to bring your own, meaning people are using whatever they have available, causing blockages to be worse. Yes some people are gross and disrespectful, but unfortunately that's what comes with running a campsite. We ordered food from the onsite van which appeared to display a worrying lack of hygiene. The person who cooked our food appeared from the back and didn't wash their hands or wear gloves before preparing our food, I noticed dirt under fingernails when handed our rolls. Just wasn't pleasant. We had family visit us one day, no one met them at 'reception' so they drove straight in, to be later told they needed to pay to visit and move the car to the car park, citing health and saftey and numbers on site - fine I guess but ironic given the lack of health and safety elsewhere on site. Not sure what they're actually paying for? If this is the case then it should be more obvious - have some one at reception, a sign or something? The site itself felt like it was just a big field with a load of junk pushed to the edges, piles of stuff everywhere behind fences. Nowhere to throw rubbish bags so are told to take it home with you - apparently it costs them £4 a bag to dispose of - what is they money we're paying actually being spent on?! The only positive - access to the River Itchen which the kids loved, and a nice walk along it to the Garden Centre. On departure we were told 'it'll be better next year!' which I think shows even the owners are aware it's not up to standard. Feels like it was opened far too soon with nothing properly in place and to be honest, I wouldn't stay again even if it did improve. I've camped many times and paid not much more for a far better experience. Not trying to slam this site, but I think people need to be aware of what it's really like.

Went camping at springbridge farm and it was a wonderful first camping experience. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We mentioned we were cold on the first night and the lovely lady offered to run to b&m to grab us some blankets seeing as we didn't have a car. We'll definitely be back.

What a great little find!! Super warm and friendly welcome from the owner. Got to feed the sheep and had chicken friends out entire stay. Facilties are basic, however playing with the animals, being close to town and having a beautiful river right beside the site make this place a proper hidden gem !! Will defo be coming back!!!!
