FAQ

How do you source your honey and ensure its quality?

At Colsterworth Honey Farm, we have our own bees and hives, and we also work with local beekeepers to source high-quality honey. We ensure the quality of our honey by conducting regular inspections of our hives, monitoring the health of our bees, and testing our honey for purity.

What types of honey do you offer and what are the differences between them?

We offer a variety of honey types, including wildflower, heather, and acacia honey. The differences between these types of honey lie in their taste, color, and texture. Wildflower honey, for example, is darker and has a stronger flavor than acacia honey, which is lighter and has a milder taste.

Do you offer any organic or raw honey options?

Yes, we offer both organic and raw honey options. Our organic honey is certified by the Soil Association, and our raw honey is unprocessed and unpasteurized, retaining all of the natural enzymes and nutrients.

Can you provide information on the sustainability practices used in your honey production?

We are committed to sustainable beekeeping practices that promote the health and well-being of our bees and the environment. We use natural methods to control pests and diseases, and we work to maintain a diverse and healthy ecosystem around our hives.

What is your return policy for honey products?

We want all of our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase of our honey products. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please contact us within 14 days of purchase to arrange a return or exchange. We will work with you to ensure that you are happy with your purchase.

Dear Sir, On Friday the 28th of April, two of your officers came to my home to fit fire alarms. I want to take the time to say thank you to the service but particularly to the officers concerned. I didn't have the foresight to ask for their names sadly so I rely on you to ensure they get my thoughts. Both staff were courteous, made me feel valued, treated me with respect and were able to give me reassurance as well as advice in the event of a fire in a relaxed but reassuring manner. They talked me through my escape plan in case of a fire and talked me through things like the importance of detection of carbon monoxide as well as other important advice. Thank you to them and to the service you provide in your endeavours to protect me and the community. Lesleuy Reilly
