I have had 2 children go through colourbox and both love it (1 still there and 1 in school). The opportunity to be independant and guide their own learning has made my son super confident in school and he excels academically. The staff and facilities are amazing and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else.

Started off as a brilliant nursery but unfortunately, over time the standards have fallen way below what you would expect of a nursery which is as well established as it is. From the children going in late to my daughter coming home at least once a week without something which she went with. My daughter goes with a onesie to play outside with and for some reason the staff will allow a 4 year to tell them if she’s wearing it or not which resulted in her trousers being ruined by playing in mud and not one of the staff thought that maybe they should take my daughter in. In regards to the children being taken in late. The staff can be as late as they want and you can’t do anything but if you are late by 5 minutes you get charged. On one occasion the children were taken in 6 minutes late. Doesn’t seem much but when the parents are paying it does add up. Also, if you enrol your child to the nursery, make sure that you take the full hours that you are entitled to. My daughter goes 11 hours a week but is entitled to 15, I tried to change the hours to 15 but for some reason this isn’t possible. In closing, a sub standard nursery with rules that suit them and not the parent. One more thing, if you leave a negative review the nursery will contact you to say that your child isn’t welcome there anymore.

We absolutely love Colourbox Haverhill!! Our daughter has been going since she was approx 9 months old for nearly 3 years! From the start the ladies there have made us feel so comfortable and at ease! Our daughter has loved every minute and has always loved going into nursery then as she’s got older being able to tell me all about the exciting things she’s done afterwards, The best thing for me personally has been the very low staff turnover! Being able to see the same members of staff continuously has been very reassuring and I know my daughter is safe, settled & comfortable, especially when she’s moved up rooms and some of her teachers have moved up too or worked in the room for short periods to assist transitions, it’s given her the help & reassurance to settle in a new room as she has a familiar face with her :) The activities/toys the nursery have are educational and fun and have helped shaped our daughters knowledge of things we would have never thought to teach her, Also I cannot forget to mention the amazing healthy home cooked meals they get! Meals I would never have thought she would eat and she’s cleared the plate!! It’s so comforting knowing that while she’s there she’s eating good home cooked food and thoroughly enjoying it! The care the ladies give really is outstanding and really puts you at ease knowing your child is so well looked after and is safe! If there’s ever any problems they call you straight away (eg feeling poorly or not themselves) We are absolutely gutted that she’s leaving but I know that she’s been well looked after and has had the best start in life ready her next educational journey! I can’t thank all the staff enough for the amazing journey we have had with them and would highly recommend Colourbox Haverhill time and time again!! Literally cannot rate the nursery highly enough!! Huge Thank you to every single member of staff :)

My son has only been attending the Haverhill Colourbox for around 6 months, and I’ve already seen a huge difference in his speech and independence. He’s always waiting at the door ready for me when I tell him it’s time for nursery and always comes home with a smile on his face. The staff are lovely and welcoming and I feel happy knowing my son is in their care.
