Five-star service at Colne Saddlery at the weekend. I was braced for having to buy a new saddle for my daughter's pony, who is fairly flat-backed with barely any wither - so not easy to fit. Ellie spent an hour-and-a-half with us in the school, was hugely knowledgable and explained everything patiently and clearly. It turned out we didn't need a new saddle, but Ellie suggested a Deva competition girth (who knew girthing was such a huge thing?) and fitted a Prolite, trying different shims, watching my daughter ride on both reins. Tom looked like a different pony by the time she'd finished – balanced, forward and happy. There was absolutely no sales pressure. The icing on the cake was a lovely cup of coffee made by the fabulous shop staff, which kept us going on the two-hour drive home. Colne is now our go-to. They were absolutely fantastic and I can't recommend them highly enough.

very bad, I was ready to spend a lot of money yersterday but I did not take anything. two waterproof trousers same brand same size different color when I tried them fit different and even one did not close, the only one I wanted was ruined and I was not offered any discount, may be they prefere to keep it unsold. no choice for exercise boots, just an indecent same brand of trousers. 1 waterproof jacket and not even my size. I asked if I could be helped to call a taxi and not even that. enough not to go there anymore

Great if you are into horses. I'm ex the kings troop. So love my horses and leather gear for them. But very expensive. I'm glad I can make my own at my price.
