My son loves his school and he runs in smiling every morning. He is happy and settled which is the most important thing. He has grown so much in confidence and although he has only just started reception I am already very impressed with his progress. All the staff at the school genuinely care for the childen and it has a real family feel to it. As the classes are small they can really find each childs strength to nurture and help them with their weaknesses. My youngest will be starting soon and I am sure he will love it too.

It is regrettable that Google has permitted an anonymous reviewer to publish an unwarranted, vicious and personal attack on a member of staff at Collingwood. It is believed the author was employed as an occasional tutor and was aggrieved when the contract was terminated. While the allegations are totally refuted, the following should be noted. In the three years since that was written, there is a completely different regime at the school led by a new Head and Deputy. The school provides a broad curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. It encourages self-reliance and courtesy in its pupils equipping them fully for their secondary education.
