We recently viewed a rental property with Colin Ellis. Both the gentleman who met us at the property and the lady I spoke to in the phone were professional. I have knocked down the review by 1 star because I feel that if you register interest in a property and supply family and income information to be passed to the landlord in hope of securing a property it would then be polite and professional to receive a quick follow up email or phone call if you are unsuccessful rather than just assuming this is the case when you notice the property later shows as let agreed on online advertising. Having this would have made the experience a 5* one even with not being successful with the property.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Colin Ellis Estate agents. The viewing process and staff were faultless however what ultimately let's them down is their managing director. He could definitely do with learning some good customer service skills as he conducts himself very abruptly and rude. Also any communication between tenants and Colin Ellis I recommend being done in writing as they say and promise one thing to you on the phone, but go back on their promises and do another anyway. Very unprofessional and sneaky which is a shame as I'd read some great reviews beforehand. Great viewing staff however very bad management and customer service from office staff. Hopefully lessons can be learned from my experience.
