Whilst carrying out a service on my vehicle, they informed me of a nail lodged in the rear passenger seat tyre. The told me it would be £230 to replace the tyre like for like, and £99 for a budget tyre. The manager told me it couldn't be repaired because of where the nail was situated. I went for a second opinion and Kwik Fit repaired the tyre for £25. This isn't the first time this has happened to me at this branch. I will leave others to decide if this was a genuine mistake or an attempt to take advantage of my circumstances.
