Best livery yard around by far. My horse finds it hard to settle, but he is home from home here. Not only do we have fantastic facilities to die for, but amazing staff and care for the horses. Farrier and instructor on site too which is a massive bonus. With past livery yards, I have found it hard to leave my horse for days in someone else’s care without checking up on my horse, but here they treat each horse like their own, which is a great feel and relief. Really would recommend Coldblow to anyone looking for a fun, reliable place to keep your horse. They won’t be getting rid of us now ever!!

I have been riding at Coldblow for 7 years now and have loved every second of it! All of the staff are supportive and encourage you to do your best, as well as always being there if any help is required. The horses and ponies are all well behaved and lovely to handle! I am currently part of a loaning scheme at Coldblow which allows you to have some more independence with your riding, and helps to build a bond with your horse. Coldblow has such a friendly environment and I would recommend it to anyone!

Have been riding here for about a year and a half and have felt so welcome by staff and owners. Everyone I have met through the riding school is extremely lovely and I am so lucky to be able to say I am a part of coldblow. I help out every Saturday and I look forward to it so much. Would definitely recommend to anyone - novice, advanced or even looking to get back in the saddle - as the horses are all skilled and talented in different ways and the people are so easy to talk to. Lovely owners and the establishment is very well run. I hope for many more years here!!

After riding at Coldblow for 6 years I can give it nothing less than a 5* review! There's a wide range of fantastic horses to suit all abilities, from your typical happy hacker cob to ex competition horse, all with lovely personalities :) Owners are caring and considerate for their horses, with friendly staff and instructors who encourage you but also make lessons fun and enjoyable. They now offer an excellent loaning scheme to give people the opportunity of experiencing the joys of horse ownership without the full time commitment :)

Wanted to get back the fun I used to find in riding so visited Coldblow Riding School. The amazing staff and lovely horses restored my confidence in riding so much so, that having vowed I would never jump I'm now looking forward to competing cross country this autumn on one of their lovely coloured cobs. The staff are encouraging, well qualified and enthusiastic and the horses are a delight from confidence giving to quality dressage stars. Each horse is well schooled, the staff know the horses well and chat with genuine fondness about their characters. If you want to learn, improve or just have fun riding, this is definitely the place to go.

I’ve been riding here for 6 years and would highly recommend. The horses and ponies are well looked after and well behaved. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to help when needed. They are also registered with the BHS and have all the appropriate insurance which so many schools do not have. I currently loan one of their horses and this is an excellent scheme. I would also not hesitate in keeping a horse on livery here if the time comes to purchase one.

I went to this riding school to try it out and have never been back. The horse that I rode to try the school misbehaved a lot and knocked my confidence entirely. I might not be the only one to experience this but I know many people with the same sort of experience. They are one of the only schools to offer loaning locally but it is not really worth it as you don't receive what you were promised with the horse/pony. This would not be the first riding school I would recommend.
