ORDERED FROZEN FISH , IT ARRIVED THAWED OUT . EMAILED FOR THEIR ADVICE. THERE REPLY WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT. SPOKE TO THEIR MD , HIS ATTITUED WAS , I SHOULD HAVE READ THEIR WEB SITE , I HADDENT BY THE WAY , AND HE WENT ON TO SAY THAT IT SAYS THAT THEIR FROZEN FISH ORDERS CAN COME DELIVERED THAWED OUT .,HE ALSO SAID IT SAYS THAT ON THE PACKET,NOT VERY LOGICAL !!, bUT I GUESS IT COVERS THEIR A - - E ,AND THAT I WAS LUCKY THAT IT WASENT SUMMER TIME , DONT KNOW HOW I COULD BE THAT LUCKY. I ASKED FOR REPACEMENT OR REFUND , NOTHING DOING THERE EITHER. We ordered a Pewitt platter for a surprise birthday/Father’s Day party & although the rain changed it from garden to conservatory, the food more than made up for it. I had never quite appreciated why green lipped mussels were so called, until I saw the jewelled light shining through their shells. Each element was perfectly prepared & enjoyed.

We had the Mersea Seafood platter for my birthday. It was fantastic, the seafood was fresh and delicious. It says it feeds up to 6, but I think it would probably have fed 7. And we are greedy! Service was friendly and efficient too. Would highly recommend

Very easy to order. Fantastic delivery service - we knew exactly when the pack would arrive. Very well packaged. The best birthday lockdown dinner. All the seafood was delicious and very fresh. Why go out for dinner when you can have this. We will definitely be staying in and eating your seafood again! Highly recommended.

Ordered a platter for delivery yesterday for partner’s birthday. Absolutely amazing. Brown shrimp, prawns and smoked salmon were delicious. I didn’t eat the mussels, crab or oysters but am told they were really good. Local oysters, smoked salmon and Cromer crab. Interesting facts on their website particularly how they ensure the oysters won’t make you ill as can sometimes happen.

GREAT COMPANY SUPPLYING SUPERB SEAFOOD - FABULOUS ! Without any doubt this has to be one of the best Seafood Platter combinations we've ever had consisting an array of the freshest and finest Seafood from thick and juicey Crevettes, succulent Oysters, superb Smoked Salmon ( definitely the best we've ever eaten ) Prawns, Crabs and Lobster; the Geedon and Pewit Platters combined made for a wonderful Seafood eating experience that we'll definitely be repeating. The Quality of Service was second to none and the Quality of the Seafood goes without saying....FABULOUS !!! Why settle for anything less, we certainly won't and will now become loyal customers of the Colchester Oyster Fishery. WELL DONE everyone !!!
