I've had another great experience dealing with Tony and Coherent systems. I just can't put into words just how much improvement the power cables, jumper cables and LPS have made to my system. I'm at the point now where I don't even hear the equipment anymore, it's all so transparent. If your goal in this hobby is just to listen to the music, to feel the wholesomeness of the sound and be emotionally involved, Tony and Coherent Systems has to be a port of call, you won't regret it.

Coherent are exceptional. My 22 year old NAD C350 amp was crackling, especially under higher loads. Tony was straightforward and very communicative from all the way through. He diagnosed the problem- a load of the capacitors were blown or degraded- ordered in substantially higher grade components and so upgraded the whole system while repairing it. Result: a dramatic improvement in audio quality and responsiveness. It’s better than new, and hopefully will do another 20 years.

This is my first time purchasing from Coherent Systems (I'm from the States) and I had an amazing customer service experience dealing with Tony. He was very professional, answered all inquiries about my purchase, and guided me through the payment process and shipping since this is my first purchase from the UK. He updated me on the receipt of payment, with plenty of pictures of the packaging even the courier pickup. I was surprised at the speed of delivery of package receiving it within a week of payment. I'm impressed at how well the electronics is professional packaged with plenty of cardboard and foam peanuts. Everything came even better than described, the "pre-owned" condition are more like new - open box. Overall, I had a very positive experience as a whole with Tony @ Coherent Systems and would not hesitate to consider future purchases and highly recommend this company.

I wish I had met Tony years ago, he would have saved me a lot of money and time. I have a fairly hi-end system (costing about £35k) in a treated room. I had identified a problem in the 2,000-4000 hz range where certain sounds (e.g. hamornicas/hammond organs) were too forward and I had tried so many different ways to isolate where the issue was coming from. Tony came over to my house and listened and asked questions and got to understand the system. He stayed for 5 hours and it was both enjoyable and an education. His depth of knowledge is quite incredible and after a few hours, he changed some of my cables, the issue was instantly solved. The whole frequency range was improved. The sound is now balanced, natural, relaxed with more detail and better timbre. I am very happy and, whilst cables were the fix I needed, I have no doubt he could identify the areas of weakness or areas to improve in anyone's hi-fi system and he works to your budget. Give him a call!

In 2009 we toured the country seeking to replace our speakers. Eventually we had the refreshing experience to meet Tony. Unlike anyone else he first needed to discover our taste in sound, music and what we wished to achieve. No ‘best’ system, no sales talk. Time was never an issue and after a few more visits we bought a pair of Focal speakers. These were delivered and installed in an exemplary manner. We kept in touch with Tony for many years with him teaching me so much. Recently we decided to move from our level 5 valve system to solid state. We did not hesitate to seek advice from Tony. He was as helpful and knowledgeable as ever and suggested listening to his class D amplifier, a pre amplifier and some cables. We were astounded how good they sounded which confirmed our decision to move away from valves. We then heard one of his hand tuned Wadia DACs and the level 5 DAC went. Adding a Mutec clock enhanced the system further. To cut a long story short we have not no regrets changing to solid state. We have to thank Tony for his hours of advice, time, patience and the generous loan of equipment. He has exceptional knowledge and experience but perhaps most of all has the skill and desire to match equipment to the wishes of an individual. If I need any help or advice Coherent will be the first place I turn to. It is a pleasure knowing and dealing with Tony.
