I have been with this surgery since it opened.I have always managed to get an appointment either by ringing or going on the app.Lovely doctors nothing is never too much trouble.I can always request a lady if it was a personal issue.Dr Lloyd and Dr Blackford have always been amazing the best doctors at this surgery.I have moved 2miles out of the catchment area so now despite pleading with them to keep me on their books, which I've been told is down to gps discretion I am sadly no longer allowed to attend.This has given me great anxiety as I think it's good to go to a gp where you can voice your concerns about your health and to have a gp that actually listens.would well recommend this surgery đ

Just had a text message say that my hyperte review is overdue and without the blood test ...they might not be able to prescribe the medication but I have already have it booked for when I'm off work for two weeks ...as they don't open at the weekends and as I have to use holidays to book appointments and attend appointments as I work long hours .... and cannot attend otherwise.

If you are moving to the area I highly recommend this practice. Never had any problems getting an appointment with a GP, every time I've needed one I've either had a same day telephone one or a same day in person. Even when just out of full lockdown, I got a same day day face to face which was just as well, turned out I was quite a lot more poorly than I thought. Staff, nurses and GPs are all lovely. The GPs and nurses always take time to listen and talk things through, no 10 minute per appointment rush there. And staff always go that little bit extra to help you and make you feel welcome. The care is excellent from the whole team.

As normal the surgery has been brilliant, phoned up at 8.30 and seen doctor by 9.10 and all sorted, a very good service, you hear horror story's but it is not my experience, I can not praise Cofton Medical Centre enough.

Child appointment so seen fairly quickly. The doctor shown me so much empathy and understanding took time to hear my concerns and gave relevant advice. I do recommend here lovely surgery. But nothing to entertain children while waiting. The waiting room very dull. Lots of wall space for more information for patients etc

I've been using cofton medical centre since 2015, I can honestly say, from my heart, the staff work very VERY hard, doctors, nurses, reception, even through the pandemic, if you phone with a bad attitude, how many other people have also, How you think they feel, there all only doing there jobs. Take ages to get through on the phone to book an appointment and even when you do, youâre only greeted with the sound of the phone being put back on the hook. Phone through again and they suddenly have nothing left. Practice manager will defend these so called receptionists for this appalling behaviour as well. On the odd occasion you do get an appointment whether itâs over the phone or face to face, doctors donât listen to you and if they canât be bothered to do their jobs and see you when youâre unwell then they fob you off with âgo to A&E if it gets worseâ. They donât help at all. If youâre lucky enough to get a face to face appointment then youâre left waiting well over an hour after your appointment time. Never experienced such disgusting service from somewhere before. Absolute disgrace to the NHS and what it stands for. Theyâre constantly blaming my local pharmacy for them not checking their emails properly and getting repeat requests through and Iâve heard from some mutual friends that theyâve been told to go to other pharmacies because they canât be bothered to check their junk emails as well and be 100% sure they havenât received anything. Yet the pharmacy has had no problems with providing me proof of the date and time they sent the request and what was ordered. This place needs to be shut down ASAP.
